Pelican Dental Concept plans are simple to administer following standard ERISA guidelines.

Smaller groups can easily self-administer the program using specially made software packages or a simple spreadsheet form.

For large groups, most employers use the services of a licensed Third Party Administrator (TPA) that specializes in management and claims administration of self-funded, dollar-based dental plans.

These plans are consumer directed and may be fully-funded by the employer, voluntarily enrolled, or a combination of both.

Pelican Dental Concept plans are currentaly available in the Florida and Alabama at this time, however, similar consumer-driven dental plans are endorsed nationally by the Consumer Directed Benfits Association.
