Brokers who are interested in offering clients a self-funded dental plan as an alternative to a fully-insured traditional or managed care product are encouraged to contact the Florida Dental Association for referral to one of the recognized Third Party Administrators who manages Pelican dental plans in the state.

Fee arrangements are negotiated between the broker and the TPA and vary depending upon the group’s size.

Employee benefit consultants are also encouraged to contact us to discuss the benefits of recommending Pelican plans to clients.

TPA representatives are available to meet with consultants and their clients to discuss how Direct Assignment and Direct Reimbursement dental plans operate and the projected cost-savings that could be realized if the plan is offered to the group’s employees and eligible dependents.
